CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

The emphasis of our yoga classes is learning to connect to and safely move with the breath throughout the practice, integrating body and mind to allow the power of spirit to flow freely in our lives.


RESTORATIVE (Marathon, Marfa*): ALL LEVELS
* Note: Marfa classes are on winter break.

This 60 minute class is a deeply nourishing practice suitable for all levels. This class is designed to reduce stress in the mind and body, increase flexibility and the ability to relax, and promote a general sense of well-being.

Please see the Restorative sequences guides below for examples of poses often practiced in this class. 

Hatha Flow (Alpine, Marfa*): INTERMEDIATE
* Note: Marfa classes are on winter break. 

Our 90 minute hatha flow classes are heart-centered, playful and dynamic.  This class is
designed to increase strength, flexibility, and endurance; energize and inspire your personal practice; relax your body; and calm your mind. Students should be familiar with basic standing poses and sun salutations. In addition to standing, seated, prone and supine poses, students will learn how to safely practice backbends and inversions.  

Please see the Hatha Flow sequence guides below for examples of poses often practiced in this class. 


COMING SOON: Yoga Playshops! 
This playshop series will consist of spacious 3-hour classes, with time to playfully explore moving deeper into asanas and hatha yoga as a spiritual practice. Each playshop will include asana, breathing exercises, chanting, and meditation.

The Restorative sequence guides are designed for a practice of 1 hour and the Hatha Flow sequences for 1.5 - 2 hours.
